View Futures League All-Star Game Release

BURLINGTON, VT — Eight Vermont Lake Monsters have been selected to olar participate in the 2025 Futures League All-Star Game at Polar Park in Worcester, Massachusetts, home of the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox, on Tuesday, July 22nd. 

The eight Lake Monsters selected are pitchers John Delgado, Jack Kelleher and Zander Teator, catcher Leandro Guevara, infielders Shaun McMillan and Bryan Richman along with outfielders Sam Cavossa and Hunter Kingsbury.

48 Futures League players were picked to take part in the game, including 13 players from first-place Worcester. The 48 players were split into two teams called Team Hearts and Team Smiles. Delgado, Guevara, Kingsbury, McMillan, Richman and Teator have been assigned to Team Hearts, while Cavossa and Kelleher will be members of Team Smiles

McMillan, who is currently tied for the FCBL Home Run lead, will also be the Vermont representative in the All-Star Home Run Derby that will take place on Monday night.

In addition, each FCBL team has one player nominated to be voted into the All-Star Game by a fan vote. Outfielder Jeremy Sosa is the Lake Monsters player who has been nominated and fans can vote here Wednesday night thru none Saturday, July 19th.
