NORWICH, CT — The Norwich Sea Unicorns rallied from an early 3-0 deficit with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and two more insurance runs in the sixth for a 6-3 Futures League victory over the Vermont Lake Monsters Tuesday night at Dodd Stadium.
Vermont jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning after loading the bases on a walk, single and another walk to start the game. They scored the first run as Mark Quatrani (Cornell) grounded into a double play and Colby Brouillette (BFA/Central Connecticut) made it 2-0 with an RBI single.
Quatrani scored a run in the third when he led off with a double, advanced to third on an error and scored on a passed ball, but then a strikeout with the bases loaded kept the advantage at 3-0.

Norwich added an RBI double and RBI single in the sixth off reliever Christian De Risi (New Haven).
