BURLINGTON, VT — Six Vermont Lake Monsters have been selected to participate in the 2024 Futures League All-Star game scheduled to take place at Dodd Stadium in Norwich, Connecticut on Tuesday, July 23rd.
Pitchers Wyatt Cameron (Central Connecticut) and Sean Gamble (Minnesota State), catcher/infielder Tyler Favretto (Kansas Wesleyan) and Chone James (Virginia), catcher Mark Quatrani (Cornell) and infielder/pitcher Zander Teator (Babson) will represent the Lake Monsters on Team Three River, which will be managed by Vermont head coach Matt Fincher.
Team Three River consists of players from the Lake Monsters along with Brockton, Nashua and the FCBL Road Warriors. Players from New Britain, Norwich Westfield and Worcester will be a part of Team Rose City.
Fans also have the chance to vote for two additional players to fill a spot on each All-Star team with outfielder Joey Gale (Saint Joseph’s) the Lake Monsters representative in the voting, which is open now until 12 noon on Saturday, July 20th. In addition to the All-Star Game on Tuesday, there will be an All-Star Experience on Monday, July 22nd at Dodd Stadium that will include a Home Run Derby. Outfielder Wyatt Patchett (Le Moyne) will represent the Lake Monsters in the eight-player Derby.
