BURLINGTON, VT — Wednesday night’s Futures League game between the Norwich Sea Unicorns and Vermont Lake Monsters was suspended by rain in the top of the third inning with Norwich leading 4-0. The nine-inning game is scheduled to resume at 5:35pm Thursday and be followed by a seven-inning contest.

Fans with tickets for Thursday’s suspended game can exchange those tickets for any other upcoming Lake Monsters 2024 regular-season home game, while those with tickets for Thursday’s game can use them to watch the conclusion of  the suspended game and Thursday’s scheduled contest.  For more information, contact the Lake Monsters ticket office at (802) 655-4200 ext 1.

Norwich built the 4-0 lead on a Shaun Callahan three-run homer in the top of the first and Kaiden Dossa sacrifice fly in the second. The game was suspended with no outs in the top of the third with Sea Unicorn runners on first and third.
