WORCESTER, MA — Game two of the Futures League best-of-three semifinal series between the Vermont Lake Monsters and Worcester Bravehearts was postponed due to rain at Fitton Field on Thursday night.

The game has been rescheduled for 6:00pm on Friday in Worcester. A Lake Monsters victory Friday would advance Vermont to the championship series, while a Bravehearts win Friday would even the series at one apiece and force a deciding Game Three at Centennial Field 6:00pm Saturday.

The other semifinal series between Norwich and New Britain had their third-and-deciding game also postponed on Thursday and rescheduled for Friday night in Norwich. The winners of the two semifinal series will advance to a best-of-three championship series (schedule TBA).
