NEW BRITAIN, CT — Friday night’s Futures League game between the Vermont Lake Monsters and New Britain Bees was postponed due to rain at New Britain Stadium and will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Saturday, June 10th beginning at 4:00pm.
With the doubleheader Saturday, the Lake Monsters will have two chances Saturday to pick up the 1,000th regular-season victory in the franchise’s 29-year history. Vermont had 904 wins as a member of the New York-Penn League (1994-2019) and is 95-47 during its three Futures League regular-seasons (2021-23).
