BURLINGTON, VT — Friday night Futures League game between Vermont and Nashua was suspended by rain in the top of the fourth inning with the Lake Monsters leading 4-0 at historic Centennial Field.

The game, which saw Vermont score four runs on four hits in the bottom of the first inning, will resume when Nashua returns to Centennial in late July. Since the game was not official, tickets for Friday’s suspension can be exchanged for any future Vermont regular-season home game at the Centennial ticket office.

The Lake Monsters will host the Norwich Sea Unicorns 6:05pm Saturday celebrating Star Wars Night with post-game fireworks. Only standing room tickets remain for Saturday’s, which will also be broadcast live on FCBLnetwork.com and locally on WYCI-TV (Comcast ch. 712, Burlington Telecom ch. 284, Spectrum ch. 706 or 1230).
