WORCESTER, MA — The Lake Monsters rallied from a 4-0 deficit with three runs in the top of the seventh and four more runs in the ninth as Vermont beat the first-place Worcester Bravehearts 7-3 in Futures League action at Fitton Field Sunday evening.

Vermont got the rally started in the seventh on a two-run triple from Jordan Kang (Harvard) and a Tommy Martin sacrifice fly to cut the deficit to 4-3. Kang got the ninth-inning with a leadoff walk and later scored from third on an Antonio Perrotta (Virginia) one-out RBI single to left.
