BURLINGTON, VT — The Vermont Lake Monsters are pleased to announce a partnership with Two Brothers Tavern in Middlebury, naming it as the first “Official Outpost of the Vermont Lake Monsters.”

“In the coming years, we are hoping to create an Official Outpost for the Lake Monsters in each of Vermont’s 14 counties. We are going to pilot this idea with Two Brothers Tavern in Addison County and were excited about the ongoing collaboration with Fiddlehead Brewing Company to help raise money for a worthy Vermont charity,” said C.J. Knudsen, senior vice president of the Vermont Lake Monsters.

As the Addison County Outpost for the Lake Monsters, Two Brothers Tavern will hold a season “kick-off” event on Saturday, June 3 at noon, with a free buffett, Champ and several Lake Monsters players. Two Brothers Tavern will also unveil its signature seasonal Lake Monsters menu item: the Lake Monsters Hot Dog. During the upcoming baseball season, $1 from every hot dog sold at Two Brothers Tavern will be donated to the UVM Children’s Hospital.

Fiddlehead Brewing Company, in Shelburne, is also launching a season-long promotion in partnership with Two Brothers Tavern and the Lake Monsters which will generate more charitable fundraising directed toward Vermont’s communities. Starting with the June 3 kickoff event, Two Brothers Tavern and Fiddlehead will each donate $1 from the sale of each Fiddlehead Mastermind Double IPA pint sold to the UVM Children’s Hospital.

As an Official Outpost, Two Brothers Tavern plans to host a series of eight Lake Monster Watch Parties throughout the season.

“I couldn’t be more excited to partner with the Vermont Lake Monsters and Fiddlehead Brewing Company to support the UVM Children’s Hospital,” said Holmes Jacobs, co-owner and general manager of Two Brothers Tavern. “Baseball is a great way to bring the community together, and I am delighted Two Brothers Tavern can play a role.”

“We are proud to be a part of this unique partnership,” said Matt Cohen, owner of Fiddlehead Brewing Company. “At Fiddlehead, we believe in giving back to the community and this effort is a great way to do exactly that.”

“The Lake Monsters are committed to finding innovative ways to celebrate baseball and build connections between Vermonters. We are excited to join forces with Two Brothers Tavern and Fiddlehead to create an unforgettable summer while supporting the UVM Children’s Hospital,” Knudsen said.
