Friday Game at New Britain Rained Out
NEW BRITAIN, CT — Friday night’s Futures League contest between the Vermont Lake Monsters and the host New Britain Bees was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader between the two FCBL teams on Saturday, June 13th beginning at 4:35pm with the first of two seven-inning contests.
The Lake Monsters and Bees currently sit atop the FCBL standings with identical 9-4 records heading into Saturday’s twinbill. The teams will wrap up the three-game series Sunday at 1:35pm before Vermont continues the six-game roadtrip with three games at Norwich Monday-Wednesday.
